Google has revealed the great technological specifications of its most popular wearable computing device,Google Glass recently.Google glass was aiming to become a milestone in the mobile computing field,this time Google decided to reveal the technological backgrounds of Google Glass.
The most important technical specifications of Google Glass are as follows:
- 5 MP Camera with 720p HD Recording.
- Wi-Fi 802.11b/g
- Bluetooth Connectivity.
- 16 GB onboard flash storage.
- High battery Life (One full day standby on normal usage)
- 640 X 320 high resolution head-up Display.
- HD display "the equivalent of a 25-inch high definition screen from eight feet away".
Even though the device is compatible with all Bluetooth supporting mobiles.it requires Android Ice-cream sandwich or above OS to work with its ‘MyGlass’ companion application.Google claims that almost all works done by a smartphone can be done with Google Glass but instead of touch interaction it responds to the voice commands.As per the latest report,it will be available below $1500.

Google is betting that their latest wearable computing device-Glass can convince the people to adopt the better wearable computing device providing the same capabilities embedded in a smartphone.The glass may compete with the Apples’ new wristwatch like device being developed,which can perform majority of the tasks done by the iPhones and iPads.
Also the voice recognition capability of the Glass provides a big opportunity to the hardware makers and developers to launch newest softwares and services.
